At East Coast HVAC, we’re usually focused on keeping the air moving in your home, but this spring, we’re keeping our eyes on the ball. I’m really happy to share that we’ve stepped up as a Platinum Sponsor for the Exeter Junior Baseball and Softball League (EJBSL).
If you’ve got kids in sports around here, you know how much work goes into making these seasons happen. I wanted us to be a part of it because I’m a big believer in what these leagues do for the town.
A League with Serious History
The EJBSL isn’t just a weekend activity—it’s an Exeter institution that goes way back. The Exeter Junior Baseball League started all the way back in 1952 in a living room on Main Street with just four teams. Fast forward nearly 75 years, and it’s grown into a massive community effort supporting over 500 kids across Exeter, Brentwood, East Kingston, Kensington, and Newfields.
The league made a great move recently by uniting the baseball and softball programs under one roof, and it’s been awesome to see it continue to thrive.
Why Platinum?
Being a Platinum Sponsor is about more than just having our name on a banner (though look for us on the fences!). It helps the league keep costs down for families and ensures the kids have new uniforms, safe equipment, and well-maintained fields.
The league is also working on some cool projects right now—like their Lights Campaign—to add lights to some of the fields so the kids can have the absolute thrill of playing under the lights. That’s the kind of stuff I remember loving as a kid, and I’m glad we can help make it happen for the next generation.
See You Out There!
Opening Day is always a blast, and I’m looking forward to seeing the community come together at the fields. Whether your kid is just starting out in the Rookie League or they’re moving up (like mine) through the Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth ranks, it’s going to be a great season.
If you see me coaching out there, come say hello. We’re proud to be a big part of this league.
