Eco-Friendly Comfort in the Woods of Strafford

Recently, a customer approached East Coast HVAC hoping to find an affordable and energy efficient way to heat and cool their home in the woods of Strafford, New Hampshire. The Problem: Our Strafford, NH customer was looking for an energy efficient way to heat and cool their 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, 1300 square foot home. Before the installation of the heat pump, the client had no way of cooling their home, other than window units.

How Do Heat Pumps Work?

Electric heat pumps transfer–rather than generate–heat, making them far more energy efficient than traditional heating systems like furnaces and baseboard heaters. The Solution: The client was recommended a heat pump unit with 3 indoor wall units; this consisted of a 30k BTU Hyper Heat outdoor unit, a 6k BTU indoor unit, and two 12k BTU indoor wall units. Client requested the outdoor heat pump be mounted to the foundation to avoid any flooding, falling, or damage from unexpected pests.
