I returned from vacation to discover that the temperature in my home had dropped to 48 degrees. I promptly contacted East Coast HVAC and was fortunate to have Trevor Doucette assigned as my technician. Trevor was exceptionally courteous and highly knowledgeable. He conducted a thorough evaluation and accurately diagnosed the issue involving the three-zone system, specifically the inability to operate a single zone independently. After consulting with his colleagues, he recommended an effective solution—one that had been successfully implemented at a nearby residence—utilizing an HZ322 zone panel and a DAT sensor. This approach allowed for adjustment of the leaving air sensor to a minimum setting of 110 degrees. To expedite the repair and avoid the need for a follow-up visit, Trevor personally obtained the necessary components from a local supply store and completed the work during the same appointment. Upon completion, he took the time to clearly explain the repairs and provided guidance on what to monitor going forward. I was so impressed with the quality of his service that I subsequently enrolled in an annual maintenance membership. I had a bad pump on the furnace, and while I could troubleshoot myself, I didn’t trust myself for the repair. I called early in the morning and had the fix done by the time the kids came home from school. The tech ‘Dan’ was on time, courteous, and well prepared. Kudos all around.
